Today, Josh Muirhead had the chance to sit-down with a few buddies and, as they almost always do, get way of topic and talk about something that he just had to come and post about. The concept discussed in the video is this:
Are you a focused and deep business or a shallow and wide business?
What Josh is getting at is, when you’re getting new consumers for your service or product are you approaching them like Wal-Mart, and trying to get as many people through the door, who are spending a small amount of money in each interaction. OR, are you in the business that may only have two or three consumers, but they work with you for the entire year, and will spend a larger amount per interaction?
